Newtons Ladder are based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Formed in 2010 by Co- Directors Mona McCarthy and Colm Scott-Baird with Eleanor Beveridge (who is now based in Melbourne Australia). Newtons Ladder is a one stop shop when it comes to your aerial needs for your event. From theatrical to corporate NL provide the highest quality and expertise for both performance and rigging solutions. We create our own shows working in partnership with our clients to provide a bespoke experience that is unique to your event. We provide all aspects of the aerial element from performers to rigging expertise, RAMS and insurance. We also provide rigging solutions for shows and performances produced by other companies eg. We lead the rigging aspects of Festival.org’s production of the Great North Star Directed by Bradley Hemmings (MBE) and choreographed by Liv Lorent (MBE), staring Charlie Harwick and Julie Hesmondhalgh. We provided performer flying system for Holy Trannity's Heels of Hell tour that included stars from the popular TV show RuPauls Drag Race.
We worked with Wild Rumpus on the Lanterns at Chester Zoo in 2017. We have also worked on Freedom on the Tyne with All or Nothing and Ermus with Southpaw Dance in both aerial performance and rigging solutions.
